The Historian/Philosopher

Created by Liam 5 years ago

Shortly after starting work in Norwood garage I was in the canteen and sitting in front of me was this guy reading a computer mag. "Hope your a fast reader as these are out of date before they reach the shelves"i say to him. "Dont worry it's next months issue" hey replies. That was my introduction to the larger than life Bill Jordan.

Bill would embrace his hobby in computers to enrich his interest in the arts and in particular music he digitized his music collection and soon most of his friends had BJs CD and playlists.. Often I would meet him in wetherspoons and he would be there after visiting an expedition in some gallery or museum.

He shared my interest in literature and is the only person I know who has read Joyce and got it has been to Dublin on blooms day.

"The Geese are screeching and squawking as a drake deemed disposable bows out of the pecking order".

I know Bill you get it you always have,

Goodbye for now. Liam.
